Stopped by randomly (because I have a very sweet tooth). It's cinnamon buns on steroids haha. You basically get to dress your cinnamon bun in whatever flavour of icing you want and top it off with whatever you want. The concept is brilliant.

You can choose the combination yourself or you can choose a pre-made combination. The price is definitely pricier than your average bun but if you consider what you're getting/doing, it's the price you expect to pay.

If you have been with me on my dessert journey this year, you will know that I love Cinnaholic. The GTA has been graced with three locations. I have been to two of them.

Cinnaholic offers vegan cinnamon rolls and much more. I like that it's dairy-free, as I am borderline lactose-intolerant and I don't have to think twice about anything that I order here.

I follow Cinnaholic on Instagram. When its Ottawa location opened, I saw massive lineups happening.

I was in this area to meet up with a friend to check out 613flea. I was super early and decided to wander around like the tourist that I tend to be. I spotted this Cinnaholic, and wanted to jump up and down. Without any hesitation, I walked over to the store.

What made me go in was a sign that said that this store has pineapple dole whip. Wow! I had to try it out. To this day, the two locations that I frequent in Scarborough and Thornhill do not have it.

I lined up. There were perhaps three people ahead of me. It was enough time for me to browse the display case and menu. I got to check out Kitty and Cat, two cute cinnamon rolls in the display case. I managed to witness a woman come in, take a photo of them, and leave without buying a thing.

I ordered a small pineapple dole whip. I was pacing myself for what goodies were at 613flea. Cinnaholic has a points system that is tied to your phone number. I got my points and moments later, my dole whip was ready.

I texted my friend to say that I had planted myself on one of the stools by the bar-like area facing the street. I then had some pineapple dole whip. It was delicious! It wasn't too sweet, but you could taste the pineapple and it was refreshing.

I have been longing to have some pineapple dole whip ever since. I just wish that it was available here. Ottawa is so fortunate to have this Cinnaholic!

Came in early at 845 on a Wednesday morning. All they had were cookies and previous day plain cinnamon buns. I would like to come back to try their regular cinnamon buns with the gourmet toppings.

I was glad to see the plain cinnamon bun as I'm not a huge lover of a tone of icing on top of the cinnamon bun. The chocolate cookie I bought was very soft and tasty. Pair with their brewed coffee it wasn't that bad of a combo. I wasn't in love with the price. Medium coffee, chocolate cookie and the day old cinnamon bun was over $10. I guess cause of rent and location of being Landsdown you pay the premium price.

I would keep an eye out for their $1 special days

I went on their first day and waited for about 2 hours but the wait was so worth it! You can find them in Landsdowne and they cost about $5. You may choose one from the menu or you may get a custom one and they are vegan!

I ordered there regular cinnamon bun. It didn't taste great. It felt it was there for days.  Never go there again.
